Charlene Wittstock is going to be a bellisima bride. Not only does she have Grace Kelly looks, but Italian designer Giorgio Armani has let it slip he's the royal couturier for her outdoor July wedding to Prince Albert of Monaco.
The 76-year-old Armani told several Italian newspapers, including Affari Italiani, at his Jan. 16 Milan fashion show, "Yes, I will declare, I will make the royal wedding dress."
Armani's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. While there's been no confirmation from the tiny principality, Armani's declaration makes fashion sense: Wittstock, a former Olympic swimmer, complained to Tatler last year that she had such bad style instincts she once stepped out dressed like a Christmas tree. Armani, who has recently dressed Wittstock for several important events, seems to have played a significant role in cultivating the beauty's increasingly regal style.
The 32-year-old princess-to-be has been at Armani's couture shows in Paris for the past two years. She was his well-dressed guest at the May 2010 amfAR's Cinema Against Aids Gala in France. She also got raves for the Armani suit she wore to Monaco's National Day this spring and wowed in a blush, Armani one-shoulder column dress at Monaco's 62nd Red Cross Ball in July.
Armani, of course, is no stranger to dressing royals. In June 2010 for the nuptials of Sweden's Princess Victoria, he outfitted Queen Rania of Jordan, Queen Paola of the Belgians, Princess Mathilde of Belgium, Princess Astrid of Belgium and Wittstock in Armani Privé gowns. He also dresses lots of Hollywood royalty, producing Anne Hathaway's sexy, sparkling bronze-hued column dress for the 2011 Golden Globes.

The Tienda Sonsierra winery has just started bottling its 2007 rioja in some rather similar-looking flacons. It's kind of a clever idea, putting your wine in a fragrance bottle, especially since perfume lovers and appreciators of fine wine share a passion for notes and layering. But here's hoping it won't lead to real fragrances being banned in public places like alcohol! LOL! Would pouring a glass of this make you feel like you were actually about to down a glass of fancy fragrance?? We think it's lovely though-- we would buy it just for bedroom decor!

Angelina Jolie's best-kept beauty secret is Shea Terra Organics! Shea butter has the highest absorption rate currently known of all oils. That means, that unlike coconut oil, cocoa butter, and similiar ingredients which merely sit on skin's surface, shea butter actually penetrates deep into the skin where it is needed to improve skin conditions. Its ability to absorb into skin assures its delivery of vitamins A and E as well as cinnamic acid which it is high in. Miombo Mango is a dedication to the dwindling Miombo forest. To promote sustainable living in the region we incorporate an extract made from the Miombo mango tree that is traditionally used to smooth skin. A decadent, sweet all natural mango fruit extract seals the deal for the fruit lover in you. Shea Terra Organics' fragrances come exclusively from plant essential oils and pure fruit extracts. People who are allergic to fragrances are generally allergic to them because they are synthetic chemicals. 99% Natural. Contains 40% Organic Shea Butter. Serious, anti-aging, dry skin formula for all day moisturization. Decadent, all natural mango extract whips this lotion into a dreamy, sweet blend.
When Seattle-based artist Adrienne Antonson describes her artworks as being “resourceful, sustainable, meticulous and pretty,” she certainly has a point. Indeed, this might well be the perfect description for the insects she creates, using only human hair and glue. Antonson toys with her audience’s emotions, making them want to take a closer look while at the same time suppressing a feeling of disgust. While some of her insects, like the fly trio above, seem only too real, others are clearly objects of Antonson’s imagination. Separated from her subject by only a hair’s breadth, Antonson’s work has an intimate quality, as she uses only hair from close friends, family or her own body. In the process of creating the insects, the time spent on each piece naturally connects the artist with her materials as well as those who donated them. She explains: “The meticulous process of working with such an intimate fiber inspires a meditation on relationships and connectivity.” Using recycled and sustainable materials for all her artworks plays an important role for Antonson, and, as suggested, human hair is a very personal material to work with. Antonson’s sculptures have been displayed across the U.S.
