Muslim women in the UK have a new beauty brand designed just for them. Businesswoman Samina Akhter has launched Samina Pure Makeup, a halal cosmetics label in which all lipsticks and shadows are made in strict accordance to Islamic law, the Daily Mail reports.

The makeup, which is imported from Australia, reportedly uses plant extracts and minerals rather than alcohol and animal products. Who knew?

"I don't feel comfortable praying with makeup on not knowing what was in there," Akhter told the paper.

"When I researched what was in makeup I found there was a lot of animal products included.

"I was shocked to find that some products contained alcohol and even pig placenta.

"Many Muslim women like me have been frustrated by wanting to look good and follow their faith.

"We've had women say, 'Thank you, now I can use products and pray without having to take the makeup off.'"

The products are certified by the Independent Halal Certification Authority Australia, which cracks down on products containing alcohol, blood, or pork.

"I'm not saying, 'Such-and-such product is haram [not halal] and we are halal -- you have to use us,'" Akhter admitted to the paper.

"Women have their own choices but at least they've got the option to do that."

Betty White may be 88 but she is about to prove she really IS still a wild thing!

The actress is capping off the day in which she received a much deserved Emmy nomination for her appearance as the oldest -- and might we say funniest -- "Saturday Night Live" host in history by announcing her next role: Calendar pinup girl!

The last surviving "Golden Girl" tells the BBC she's created a 2011 calendar to benefit the Morris Animal Foundation, which supports research on animal health and welfare.

The charity pictorial includes photos of the longtime animal activist posing with beloved creatures from the critter and human kingdom in a manner that will permanently seal her cougar reputation.

One shot features White reclining in a poolside chaise and being served by three shirtless, greased-up hunks dressed only in their Skivvies. Some of her favorite pets, maybe?

White says all proceeds from the $12.99 calendar -- due in September -- will benefit the foundation.

An Ohio woman paid $5 for a LeBron James pendant at a yard sale, thinking it was costume jewelry. But the International Gemological Institute said Vaneisha Robinson's find is the real deal, ringing in at nearly $10,000.

Robinson, 20, said she used to wear the jersey-shaped pendant to high school when she didn't know its value. Then she had it appraised.

Gemologist Jerry Ehrenwald said the 14-karat white gold pendant sports more than 2 carats of diamonds. The number 23 jersey reads 'King' on the front and 'James' on the back.

Robinson, who's an amateur boxer in James' hometown of Akron, Ohio, listed the jewelry on eBay. She said the King's brand will never die, even after he left the Cleveland Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat.

If you're a huge LeBron fan and you're just dying to get your hands on this ugly pendant, then shop for it HERE!

***UPDATE*** It appears the pendant has been stolen & the theft is currently under investigation. Drama, drama, drama! Read more about it HERE!
